Air Purifier Services in Boca Raton, FL by All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning

There is a wide variety of contaminants that can enter the air of your home and start to circulate through your ventilation system and through the rooms.

Mechanical air filters are effective at stopping some of the larger particles, such as dust, pollen, pet dander, and carpet and furniture lint. But there are many smaller particles that will move right through the fibers of standard air filtration systems. Often, you will need another line of defense: electronic air purifiers that use ionization to remove extremely small pollutants.

Air purifiers (also known as electronic air cleaners) must have professional installation and maintenance services to make sure that they work correctly. If you are searching for the best air purifier for your home’s needs, call on All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning. We provide air purification systems along with our other indoor air quality services. You can entrust us with seeing that the unhealthy and bothersome pollutants in your home’s air are effectively removed.

If you need air purifier services in Boca Raton, FL and the surrounding areas, call the indoor air quality experts at All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning today.

How Air Purifiers Work

Standard air filters trap particles in a medium of fibers. Air purifiers also trap particles, but they use electronic means. An air purifier uses a process called corona discharge to ionize the air around it so that it affects a region inside the HVAC system where the airflow must move. Ionization causes large particles in the air (the pollutants) to either gain or lose an electron, and this gives the particles either a negative or positive charge.
The charged particles are then drawn down from the air by a pair of plates on the air cleaner, one with a positive charge and one with a negative, where they are trapped. Other charged particles in the air are drawn toward each other, and as they clump together they become heavier and fall out of the air flow.

When Is an Electronic Air Cleaner the Best Choice?

A mechanical air filter can affect more than 99% of particles 0.3 micron in size and larger. But it requires an electronic air purifiers to effectively target the smaller particles. These include smoke, chemicals, pesticides, and odor molecules. If your home is experiencing trouble from odors and chemicals and your filters aren’t helping, then you should consider installation of an electronic air purifier.

But please make sure that you have professional assistance before making any choice. Indoor air quality professionals will discover what contaminants are in your air and then help you decide on the air purifiers, air filters, or combination of the two that will reward you with the healthy air your family deserves.

All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning Offer Air Purifier Services

Our indoor air quality experts provide a number of different installations to help boost indoor air quality for homes including putting in electronic air cleaners. If you are concerned about your home’s air, contact us and let us find out if you will benefit from an air purification system. Is Your Home Well-Insulated?

Some homeowners seem to think that insulation is a top concern only during the winter season, which is obviously very, very mild in this part of the country. After all, it is during the winter that residents of colder states than ours bundle themselves up in order to insulate their bodies from the cold air, right? Some homeowners seem to think that insulation is a top concern only during the winter season, which is obviously very, very mild in this part of the country. After all, it is during the winter that residents of colder states than ours bundle themselves up in order to insulate their bodies from the cold air, right? Well, this is true, but the fact of the matter is that the insulation in your home plays a vital role all year long. Insulation doesn't simply keep heat in one's home. It serves to prevent the unwanted transfer of heat in both directions, meaning that it is just as important during our long, hot summers, as it prevents heat from making its way into your house. If you don't have sufficient insulation in Boca Raton, FL, you are going to run into a few different issues.
  • High cooling costs are the most obvious sign that you have subpar insulation in your home. If even one area of your house is poorly insulated, you are going to wind up running your air conditioner overtime as you try to evenly cool that house. The more you use your AC, the more it is going to cost you. In this way, poor insulation actually forces you to pay more for a lesser cooling performance!
  • Poor indoor air quality can also result from subpar insulation in one's home. The primary function of insulation is obviously not to protect your indoor air quality. However, it is an added benefit of having sufficient insulation throughout your home. If there is thin insulation in any area, pollutants from the air outside can more easily infiltrate your living space.
  • Discomfort is the most problematic of all issues caused by subpar insulation. The bottom line is that you should be completely comfortable in your home when running your AC. If heat is easily transferring into your home due to poor insulation, this just won't bet the case.

Let All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning handle your insulation services.

Trouble Cooling Your Home? It May Be Your Thermostat!

To say that you need a great air conditioner in this part of the country is really to state the obvious. When dealing with heat and humidity of the kind that we live with, your air conditioner is a vital part of your day to day life.

To say that you need a great air conditioner in this part of the country is really to state the obvious. When dealing with heat and humidity of the kind that we live with, your air conditioner is a vital part of your day to day life. That is why we suggest that you contact us as soon as you start having any problems with your home cooling system. Not every issue will require complex professional repairs, of course. Even so, having a qualified technician investigate matters is the only way in which to guarantee that the problem, regardless of how severe it may be, is properly diagnosed. In many cases, your thermostat in Boca Raton, FL may be to blame.

Is Your Thermostat In the Wrong Place?

Did you know that many factors, including its installation location, can seriously affect its overall performance. If you have your thermostat installed right next to a window, for instance, or in a spot constantly in direct sunlight, the it may actually register temperatures hotter than they are in your home. That can lead to your system working harder than it should have to. You know what that means, right? Higher energy bills, which nobody wants.

Is It Malfunctioning?

If your thermostat used to work just fine, but is no longer signalling your air conditioner to cycle on and off as it should, then it is very possible that it is malfunctioning. This is going to require professional services to resolve. While it is possible that repairs may be completed, you may also need to have your thermostat replaced. If so, we'll make sure that you have the best thermostat for your needs, and that it is integrated into your home and your system correctly.

Is It Set Properly?

This may sound a little obvious, but you should definitely check your thermostat settings if your air conditioner is not cooling your house the way you expect it to. We all make mistakes from time to time, especially when distracted. It's possible that you've set your thermostat to its "fan only" mode, or that you've simply set the temperature higher than you meant to.

3 Signs of Problems with your Air Ducts

While ductless mini splits have certain grown more popular over recent years, cooling one's home with a ducted central air conditioner is still far and away the most popular method of doing so. If you have any problems with the ductwork in your home, you are not going to be able to enjoy the quality performance that you deserve from your home cooling system.

That is why we'd like to share with you a few warning signs that there are problems with your ductwork. Read on, and remember that we offer the duct testing and duct sealing services you need in Boca Raton, FL.

Hot Spots

If you are trying to cool your home with your central air conditioner, but there are hot spots in your living space, it is very possible that faulty ductwork may be to blame. Your ductwork will simply not be able to evenly distribute cooled air throughout your home effectively if it is leaking. If you notice unbalanced temperatures in your home, especially if it is a new development, contact us to have your air ducts tested and, if necessary, sealed.

High Cooling Costs

Much as we'd love to tell you otherwise, cooling your home is not going to come free of cost. Chances are, because we use our air conditioners so much on so regular a basis, that you have a general idea of how much it costs to cool your home. If you notice that the cost of cooling your home is getting higher and higher, though you've not changed your cooling habits, it may be due to leaky ductwork reducing energy efficiency.

Low Indoor Air Quality

Have you found that your home is dustier or a bit dingier looking than usual? Is it hard to keep up with your cleaning? Are your allergies or asthma symptoms really starting to act up? When your ducts leak, pollutants can make their way into those air ducts. Once that happens, your ductwork itself can be responsible for distributing pollutants throughout your entire home.

Why You Need Reliable Carbon Monoxide Detectors

Living comfortably in your home is obviously very important, but even more important is that you are able to live in your home safely. In order to guarantee that this is the case, you really must have reliable carbon monoxide detectors installed in your house.

Living comfortably in your home is obviously very important, but even more important is that you are able to live in your home safely. In order to guarantee that this is the case, you really must have reliable carbon monoxide detectors installed in your house. Carbon monoxide is a serious threat to the health of any residents in any home, and it requires the use of a carbon monoxide detector in order to discover it in your home. If you are in need of a carbon monoxide detector in Boca Raton, FL, or you suspect that you have an issue with your existing device, give a member of our staff a call right away.

Why Be Concerned About Carbon Monoxide?

You shouldn't live your life in fear of carbon monoxide exposure, and we certainly are not suggesting that you should be worrying about it every moment of every day. It is something to be concerned with, though, and you should take the simple measure of ensuring that you have a great carbon monoxide detector in place to protect yourself and your family. Simply put, there is no chance of doing so on your own. Carbon monoxide is a natural  byproduct of the incomplete combustion of fossil fuels, including oil, wood, natural gas, etc. If you use any appliances or systems burning such fuels in your home, then you could hypothetically be at risk of CO exposure. Why is this so problematic? Chances are that you won't realize you've been exposed to carbon monoxide until you feel the symptoms of exposure. The gas itself is naturally odorless, tasteless, and colorless. It can be fatal if exposure is prolonged and in high enough concentration. Since you cannot spot it on your own, due to its natural properties, you need a CO detector to alert you to its presence. Contact us to make sure that yours is functioning flawlessly.

Let All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning handle your CO detector services.

Is a More Expensive Air Filter Best for My System?

During the summer season, you are going to be running your air conditioner pretty much around the clock in order to keep your home habitable, let alone comfortable. Scheduling routine, professional air conditioning maintenance is necessary if you hope to keep your system in the best working condition possible.

During the summer season, you are going to be running your air conditioner pretty much around the clock in order to keep your home habitable, let alone comfortable. Scheduling routine, professional air conditioning maintenance is necessary if you hope to keep your system in the best working condition possible. However, you must also remember how important it is that you change your air filter on a regular basis as well. This is important not only for protecting the integrity of your AC, but for keeping a handle on your indoor air quality as well. Which air filter is right for your system, though?

There's Nothing Wrong with Cheap Air Filters

First things first, let us just say that there is nothing wrong with using a relatively cheap air filter. The main purpose that the air filter in your AC system serves is to protect your air conditioner from operational issues. For the most part, those cheaper air filters that you have to change every month or so will do the trick. There are a lot of different factors to consider, though, including whether or not you have pets.

So Why Use More Expensive Air Filters?

If you are looking at more expensive air filters for use in your home, the only difference that you are looking at is filtration efficiency. This is measured by the MERV of the air filter, or its minimum efficiency reporting value. The key reason to choose a more efficient air filter is if you or anyone in your family suffers from allergies. If so, then using these more expensive air filters can help you to cut down on the amount of pollutants and allergens in the air in your home. If you are just wondering about how your filter will serve your system, though, cheaper filters are fine, so long as you change them as needed.

Why Is There Water Around My AC?

Our summer season is far too hot to take any chances with the overall operational quality of our air conditioners. That is why it is so important that you are able to spot the signs of trouble with your AC before the situation gets too out of hand.

Our summer season is far too hot to take any chances with the overall operational quality of our air conditioners. That is why it is so important that you are able to spot the signs of trouble with your AC before the situation gets too out of hand. Some signs of air conditioning problems are more obvious than others, and water pooling around the unit is one of the clearest signs that there is a problem. If you are serious about protecting the integrity of your air conditioner, contact us to schedule air conditioning repairs in Boca Raton, FL at the first sign of trouble.

Where's the Water Coming From?

There is a good chance that the water in the vicinity of your air conditioning system is not actually indicative of a leak. Why? Because an air conditioner does not actually use water in its operation. So where is the water coming from? One possibility is that your evaporator coil is icing up, and this could be a sign of serious trouble. In the evaporator coil, refrigerant evaporates in order to absorb heat from the air passing over it. If there is a refrigerant leak in your system, the coil may get so cold as to freeze the condensate that collects on it, resulting in the development of ice. When this ice melts, it can give the appearance of a leaking system. It is also possible that you have a very dirty air filter in your system, and that this air filter is reducing airflow and leading to the icing. This may be a less serious problem, but only a trained professional can truly diagnose the issue. Another potential source of the "leak" is a backed up condensate drain line, or even just a misaligned drain pan. When your AC is cooling your home, it draws moisture out of the air. That moisture is drained away as condensation via the condensate drain assembly. If the drain backs up or is knocked out of place, the water can wind up all over your floor, instead.

Let All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning get to the bottom of your icy AC issues.

Why Is My AC Operating at Reduced Efficiency Levels?

We depend upon our air conditioning systems far too much in this part of the country to allow them to work at subpar energy efficiency levels. Of course, the more you use your air conditioner, the more you are going to be paying in energy costs.

We depend upon our air conditioning systems far too much in this part of the country to allow them to work at subpar energy efficiency levels. Of course, the more you use your air conditioner, the more you are going to be paying in energy costs. Even so, though, you should have a general idea of how much you pay to cool your home throughout a billing cycle, especially if you've been in your home for a number of years. If your utility bills come in and you are shocked by what you see, your air conditioner in Boca Raton, FL may be failing to operate with the level of efficiency that it normally does.

Lack of Maintenance

The best thing that you can do for your air conditioning system in general is to schedule routine air conditioning maintenance with a professional technician. When you have your air conditioner tuned up on a regular basis, you ensure that every component within that system is in fine working order. Only then can you hope for your air conditioner to function at peak performance and efficiency levels. The fact of the matter is that a poorly maintained air conditioner is not only going to give you a subpar performance, but also leave you paying more for it.

Dirty Coils

There is a component in your air conditioner called the evaporator coil. It is in this coil that refrigerant evaporates as it absorbs heat from the air passing over it. If this coil is covered with dirt and grime due to insufficient cleaning, which would certainly be completed during routine maintenance, your system is going to struggle to draw an adequate amount of heat out of the air. This means it will run longer, driving up energy costs.

Leaky Ductwork

If you rely on ductwork to distribute conditioned air throughout your home, you need to know for certain that those air ducts are in fine working condition. If your bills are climbing and climbing, your AC may be working overtime due to leaks in your ductwork. We can determine if this is the case and, if necessary, seal your air ducts for you.

Change Your Air Filter Regularly This Cooling Season

Living in Florida demands that you have a great air conditioning system installed on your property. Of course, a great air conditioner alone is not enough to guarantee your comfort.

Living in Florida demands that you have a great air conditioning system installed on your property. Of course, a great air conditioner alone is not enough to guarantee your comfort. If your system is not well-maintained, for instance, then you really have no hope of successfully cooling your home with the reliability and efficiency that you deserve. That is why we recommend scheduling your air conditioning maintenance in Boca Raton, FL with a member of our staff. There are, however, certain steps that you yourself can take in an effort to protect the operational quality and integrity of your home cooling system. One of the most important is simply changing your air filter regularly.

Use the Right Air Filter!

Not every air conditioning system is going to use the same standard air filter. If you put the wrong air filter into your system, it may cause there to be too much airflow resistance, which can impede the operation of your system. Not only that, but you risk damaging your equipment if your air filter is not of the right size for your system. That is why you really must refer to your system's literature when changing out a dirty air filter. This is also where you may find instructions regarding how frequently to change your filter, though many environmental factors will also dictate the frequency with which your filter must be changed.

How Does Changing My Air Filter Benefit Me?

When you have a clean air filter installed in your air conditioning system, you won't have to worry about reduced energy efficiency due to high levels of airflow resistance. You also won't have to worry about decreased air flow leading to problems such as icing on your evaporator coil, or the issues with your indoor air quality that a dirty filter can promote. If you have any questions about changing your air filter, just give us a call.

Work with the AC maintenance pros that you can trust at All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning.

Buy a New AC System and Get a Free UV Germicidal Light

Summer is just around the bend here in Boca Raton, FL, and it always hits hard when it does arrive. If you hope to live comfortably throughout the hottest time of the year, then it is important that you have a great air conditioning system in place.

Summer is just around the bend here in Boca Raton, FL, and it always hits hard when it does arrive. If you hope to live comfortably throughout the hottest time of the year, then it is important that you have a great air conditioning system in place. This may mean that you must replace an old, ailing air conditioning system with a newer, more reliable model. We know that this is a pretty major expense for most homeowners, which is why we are running a new promotion to help you to take a bit of the sting out of the expense. For a limited time, receive a free UV germicidal light when you invest in a new air conditioning system.

When Is a New AC Necessary?

Before you can invest in a new air conditioning system, you must first come to accept that such an investment is actually worthwhile. Obviously, if your air conditioner breaks down entirely you are going to understand that it needs to be replaced. However, you don't really want to wait for this to happen. If your existing system is costing more and more to operate, if it is providing you with a weaker and weaker cooling performance, or if it just doesn't really suit your cooling preferences, then an air conditioning replacement is well worth your consideration.

Why Use a UV Germicidal Light?

For many homeowners, air filtration and electronic air purification systems are enough to boost the quality of the air in their homes sufficiently. For others, though, this simply is not going to cut it. If biological pollutants are giving you trouble in your home, then basic air filtration and air purification is not going to suffice. Pollutant destruction measures will be necessary, and that is what a UV air purifier can provide. Contact us for more details.

Do I Need an Electrical Panel Upgrade?

According to the Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI), approximately 51,000 homes are destroyed by electrical fires each year, with electrical distribution systems being the third leading cause of home fires. Most homeowners don’t realize the dangers they face when they undergo remodeling projects, adding rooms on and adding more appliances.

Eventually, your electrical system can get overloaded. However, keeping your electrical system up to date ensures that it is prepared to meet all your energy needs, and protect your family and home.

Why Should I Upgrade?

If your electrical panel is full, your circuit breakers constantly trip, and/or your fuses blow constantly, then you are not using the electricity in your home effectively or safely. Some homeowners may try to remedy this by replacing their circuit breaker with a larger one. However, most homes—especially older homes—were built to handle a maximum of 60 amps for the entire home. Your circuit breaker must be the correct size to handle the amount of amps your home is equipped with.

What Are the Benefits of an Upgraded Electrical System?

The biggest advantage of upgrading is that you’ll have peace of mind that your home and family are protected from electrical fires caused by overloaded circuits. You can use your appliances safely, and your expensive electronic equipment will be protected from excessive power surges. Updating your electrical system could even increase your home’s resale value.

Can I Update My Electrical Panel Myself?

It is unwise to attempt a DIY electrical project. Amateur wiring can be dangerous, as well as expensive to repair in the future if you make a mistake. Our team is standing by, ready to upgrade your electrical panel safely and effectively. The risks that come with the use of electricity and electrical systems are too great to leave anything to chance.

Contact All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning today for circuit breaker services in Boca Raton, FL.

Why Is a Refrigerant Leak a Big Deal?

We may not be in the hottest time of the year just yet, but temperatures outside are certainly on the rise. So too is the humidity level in the air.

We may not be in the hottest time of the year just yet, but temperatures outside are certainly on the rise. So too is the humidity level in the air. For those reasons, it really is vital that your air conditioning system is able to function precisely as intended. If your system has a refrigerant leak, no matter how tiny that leak may be, there is just no way in which you can hope to cool your home successfully. If you suspect that you have a refrigerant leak in your air conditioning system, you need to schedule professional air conditioning repairs in Boca Raton, FL immediately.

What Does Refrigerant Do?

The refrigerant in your air conditioning system acts as the heat transfer fluid for that system. It expands and absorbs heat from the air in your home during the summer season, and it is then cycled outside to your outdoor unit. There, it condenses, and the heat in the refrigerant is vented to the air outside. It is this process that allows you to cool your home during the hottest time of the year, and a refrigerant leak means that you are not going to be able to do so as effectively as possible. If enough refrigerant leaks out of your system, that system may break down entirely, potentially incurring serious damages.

Signs of a Refrigerant Leak

You should have your air conditioner tuned up every year, at which time the refrigerant levels will be checked. However, you should also know some common signs that your refrigerant is leaking, just in case. That way, you aren't waiting for an annual service to have the problem brought to light. You may hear a hissing sound coming from the AC cabinet, as refrigerant escapes the pressurized system. You may also notice that there is ice forming on the system, either on the refrigerant lines themselves, or on the evaporator coil. This can happen because there is not enough refrigerant to facilitate sufficient heat absorption. Finally, you may just notice that your AC is not cooling your home as effectively as usual, because the heat transfer process is hindered by low refrigerant levels.

Contact  All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning when you need great AC repair services.

Why You Must Keep Your Condensate Drain Line Clean

Most Florida residents don’t think about the inner workings of their air conditioner until they have a problem. Hot weather is right around the corner and a properly working AC is essential to your comfort.

Most Florida residents don’t think about the inner workings of their air conditioner until they have a problem. Hot weather is right around the corner and a properly working AC is essential to your comfort. There are a number of issues that could affect your air conditioner, especially if you have not scheduled an AC maintenance appointment in the last year. One of these problems is a dirty condensate drain.

Why Is This a Problem?

Your air conditioner removes moisture from the air. As it does this, the moisture collects as condensation on the evaporator coil, and then drips into the condensation pan. This liquid travels through the condensate drainpipe to outside the home, where it’s discharged. In most cases, moisture is not the only thing passing through the condensate drain line. Dust particles and bacteria can also build up, causing the condensate line to clog. If the drain line is clogged, then condensate can back up and overflow the drain pan. This could lead to water damage on your property. These damp conditions can cause mold growth, and can also signal your AC system to shut down. In addition, mold and algae could develop inside the condensate line, creating even more problems.

How Do I Prevent This?

You can prevent the buildup of dirt and debris in your condensate line by changing your air filter on a regular basis. This helps prevent the debris from reaching the water that drains from your system in the first place. Another preventative measure to take is to schedule air conditioning maintenance on a yearly basis. During your maintenance appointment, we will check to make sure your system is draining water properly. We’ll also check for any other issues and potential repair needs.

Call All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning today for your air conditioning needs in Boca Raton, FL.

Is This the Year for an Air Conditioning Replacement?

We're moving into the spring season, and temperatures are only going to get hotter and hotter from here on out. If you are thinking about replacing your air conditioning system, then you are going to want to have that service completed before the hottest weather of the year is on top of us.

We're moving into the spring season, and temperatures are only going to get hotter and hotter from here on out. If you are thinking about replacing your air conditioning system, then you are going to want to have that service completed before the hottest weather of the year is on top of us. An air conditioning replacement is not something that you can rush into, though. Considering the extreme heat in which we live for so much of the year, you  really need to know for certain that your AC is the right fit not only for your home, but also for your personal user preferences. Consider the following if you think that it may be time for an air conditioning replacement in Boca Raton, FL.

Your Existing System's Performance

When you run your air conditioning system, are you 100% satisfied with the way in which it operates? If not, despite the fact that the system was professionally installed and is well-maintained, you may want to consider replacing that system with a newer, better-performing one. Does your system seem to cycle on and off too frequently? Does it fail to bring down temperatures throughout your home effectively, or leave hot spots throughout the house? Any such performance issues should not be tolerated in our climate.

How Old Is Your System?

The type of performance issues mentioned above could have any number of potential causes. In many cases, though, air conditioning systems are simply too old and worn out to operate as effectively as they once did. We understand that homeowners want to get the greatest return possible from any investment that they may make, but you should not risk your comfort in doing so. Replacing an old and ailing system before it breaks down entirely is a great way in which to ensure that your system doesn't fail you during the hottest days of summer.

Does It Work Efficiently?

Are you paying too much to cool your home? Does it seem like your AC is costing more and more to operate, despite its maintenance needs being met? Did you invest in a fairly inefficient system some time ago, due to budgetary constraints? A new, more efficient system is going to cost you some money upfront. It can also, though, save you money in the long run thanks to reduced operational costs.

Call All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning today to discuss your AC replacement options.

How Can Professional Duct Sealing Benefit Me?

When you are running your central air conditioner in order to cool your home, you are depending upon your ductwork in order to distribute that cooled air throughout your home in an efficient and effective manner. If your ductwork is leaky, torn, corroded, or just poorly sealed, though, there is no way in which you can hope for it to function as well as it should.

Leaky ductwork can lead to a number of different problems, but they are problems that our technicians can resolve. Read on to learn more about how professional duct sealing in Boca Raton, FL can benefit you.

Better Energy Efficiency

One of the greatest benefits that you'll enjoy as a result of professional duct sealing is improved energy efficiency. If your system is not able to deliver conditioned air throughout your home in a successful manner, then there is no way in which you can hope to cool your home as efficiently as you should be able to. Air will leak out into areas where it is not really needed, and your system will have to work harder in order to compensate for this. By sealing your ductwork, you can ensure that your cooled air makes it to its intended destination.

Improved Comfort

If your ductwork is leaking, then your system is going to struggle to cool your home evenly. This can lead to hot spots popping up throughout your home, meaning that different areas may be less comfortable than others. With properly sealed air ducts, you can bask in the comfort that you deserve throughout your entire house.

High Indoor Air Quality

Air leaking out of your ductwork is a serious concern. So too, though, are pollutants making their way in via leaks and poor seals. When this happens, your ductwork itself will play a role in decimating your indoor air quality, spreading pollutants throughout your entire home.

Schedule duct sealing with All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning.

Modern homeowners are always looking for more modern ways in which to upgrade and utilize their electrical systems. We are more dependent upon electronic devices and appliances now than at any other point in history, after all. If you are interested in taking the next step forward when it comes to your lighting system, then you should give some serious consideration to the use of LED lights in your home. Your indoor lighting system in Boca Raton, FL should be as efficient as it is effective and reliable, and using LED light bulbs is a great way in which to ensure that this is the case. Read on to learn more about the benefits of LED lighting, and contact All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning to schedule service.

What Exactly Is an LED Light?

LED stands for "light emitting diode." This type of bulb is vastly different than incandescent or fluorescent bulbs, and is both longer lasting and more durable. These bulbs also offer better lighting quality than many other types of bulbs. Because LEDs are highly directional, they will typically be clustered together on a bulb in order to emit light in a comprehensive manner, rather than in a single direction.

Why Choose LED Bulbs?

LED bulbs are great for saving energy, using at least 75% less energy than incandescent bulbs. Plus, they last 25 times longer than these bulbs, meaning that you'll be paying to replace them with far less frequency. Additionally, they give off very little heat, with incandescents releasing 90% of their energy as heat. This too makes LEDs a more efficient, not to mention safer, option. Because they are so directional, they don't require reflectors or diffusers, and are great for recessed lighting and task lighting as well. In order to ensure that you get the very best performance possible from your LED lighting system, you need only dial our number to schedule your LED lighting services with the pros on our team.

In this part of the country, we use our air conditioning systems throughout most of the year in order to keep our homes cool and comfortable. Even during the winter season, there are plenty of days that can get uncomfortably hot. If you hope to cool your home as effectively and efficiently as you ought to be able to, then you must have the right thermostat for the job in place. Simply upgrading your thermostat is one of the most effective means by which to improve upon your residential cooling experience. Contact All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning if you are ready to upgrade your thermostat in Boca Raton, FL.

Control Your System More Exactly

A lot of homeowners prefer to keep things simple when it comes to the devices that they use in their homes. What many fail to realize, though, is that using old, simple manual thermostats can actually be doing them a serious disservice. If your thermostat is of this design, you may not be setting your temperature as accurately as you think, as they have some wiggle room. Instead, use a basic digital thermostat in order to regulate the operation of your system more exactly.

Live More Conveniently

Have you ever left your house, only to suffer a sneaking suspicion later in the day that you forgot to reset the thermostat before you left? It can be a troubling scenario, especially if you are far from home. However, you can use a programmable thermostat to do away with such worries. Simply set up cooling programs based around your own personal schedule, and your thermostat will take it from there.

Save More Energy

Living in Florida means that you'll have to pay to cool your home throughout the year. Using a smart thermostat, though, means that you can use energy more wisely when doing so. Incorporate smart technology into your system, so that you can track energy usage and utilize energy reports to cool your home in a more thoughtful and successful manner.

Your electrical system allows you a great many luxuries and conveniences, from heating water and powering your dishwasher to running your television and charging your phone. To say that the modern electrical system is one of the most important parts of any home is no exaggeration. You must remember, though, that electricity does have the potential to be dangerous. If the electrical wiring in your home is not in proper working order, you may be at risk of fires and other dangers. That is why you should schedule any electrical wiring services in Boca Raton, FL with the electricians on our staff. Read the following information, and contact All-Pro Electrical & Air Conditioning if you have any concerns about your electrical wiring.

How Old Is Your Home?

In many instances of electrical fires in residences, it is the insulation surrounding the wiring that acts as the catalyst of the fire. This insulation can degrade over time. If your home is more than 50 years old, and the wiring in your home is all original, then you should have a professional electrician come to evaluate its condition. It may not be necessary to rewire your system, but at the very least you'll have the peace of mind of knowing that your wiring is safe.

Are Your Outlets Discolored?

If your outlets are beginning to look a bit charred on the outside, just imagine what they may look like from the other side. If you notice that any outlets in your home are discolored, you should contact us to schedule service immediately. There may be arcing issues behind that outlet that are leading to this burning, or you may have wiring that is just getting far too hot in your walls.

Is Your Breaker Tripping?

The whole point of having a circuit breaker, as opposed to a fuse box, is to reset circuits conveniently and safely when the breaker trips. If you are doing this with great frequency, though, it could be a sign of either bad wiring, or simply that your older wiring cannot handle the electrical demand in your home. Either way, professional wiring services may be necessary.
